“Project of the Faculty of Economics and the University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Management in Steyr Austria”

The Faculty of Economics and its department of management deepen cooperation with University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Management in Steyr Austria in year 2009. These institutions contracted common agreement in May of this year. Among main areas of next cooperation belong the preparation of together scientific projects, exchange of students and teachers. The Faculty of Economics promised in the case of positive accreditation by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports Czech Republic to enable graduates of University in Steyr to study in new English doctoral study program, which will be newly opened.
Currently representatives of both institutions prepared new common project in the frame of Cross-border Cooperation Operational Program Austria - Czech Republic this year. The main goal of this project is to prepare regional actors, organizations and institutions for competition through support of cooperation between Czech and Austrian region in the field of removing existing barriers and extending the development potential of both regions. The aim of the project will be reached due to following activities: preparation of research methodology for evaluating of small and medium enterprises; implementation of strategy management principles, balanced scorecard, fragmentation analysis, managerial audit; collecting relevant data from small and middle enterprises; choosing of model enterprise; publication activity and conference and system of education for representatives of small and medium enterprises.
